For optimal results, spraying programmes to commence with Kiwi Size, followed by Kiwi Control - applied according to instructions, & along with recognized orchard management practices, including girdling. (Our products should not be mixed with other additives such as insecticides, fungicides or other foliar fertilisers.)

NutriChem's Kiwi Size is a liquid foliar biostimulant spray. It comprises a natural, protein based formulation, manufactured using a highly specialised technology.

Kiwi Size is a precise blend of specific amino acids & nutrients to encourage increased cell division in Kiwifruit.

After cell division 4-6 weeks post fruit-set, there is a huge demand for nutrients. During this crucial cell division stage, applications of NutriChem's Kiwi Size helps encourage larger fruit size.

Apply 25-30 days after fruit-set. Follow label application timings 10-14 days apart.

It slows down the growth of canes & tips.

Redirects nitrogen away from vegetative growth to help enhance fruit sizing

Increases the production of chlorophyll, which in turn facilitates photosynthesis, increases carbohydrate & dry matter.

Application Instructions for Kiwi Control

Kiwi Control is a great canopy management tool. Used prudently, it can substantially help reduce summer pruning costs.

Optimal results are achieved when a comprehensive, industry standard, summer pruning regimen is implemented. (Kiwi Control cannot substitute substandard summer pruning & girdling practices)

Aim for at least 2 rounds of opening the canopy up by removing all blind shoots, along the main leader & tipping (where needed) to allow light penetration.

The key is to keep an open canopy before you begin spraying. Aim to achieve this prior to, or just after Christmas (Southern Hemisphere)

The time to begin spraying Kiwi Control is when replacement canes are the length you'd want to tie down in the winter. This is usually around mid January (Southern Hemisphere)
